Sandbar Beach House overlooks one of the most pristine beaches in Australia, with the beach access path right next to this stunning property. The views are breath taking, looking out over Great Oyster Bay, white sandy beaches and big blue skies. Ideal for families, where you can take a short stroll directly in front of the house to the beach. There is a large sweeping sun deck, perfect for entertaining and having a BBQ or just sitting back with a glass of wine.

Good to know

There is a very large open plan living / dining / kitchen area. This opens out onto a large deck, which is partly covered by a Vergola. The deck area has a BBQ, outdoor table and chairs. The main bedroom has views across the beach and water. It has an attached bathroom. There is a sliding door onto the deck area. The second bedroom has views across the beach and water. The third bedroom has the option of a KIng bed or 2 Single beds. There is a main bathroom, with a bath, in addition to the ensuite off the main bedroom. There are full laundry facilities, with a washing machine and clothes dryer.

The property has been on short term rental for a couple of years, with very good reviews from guests. As the owner, I have taken over the management of the house from December 2024, so it appears as a new listing.

A beautiful house with fantastic views. Everything about the house was first class.It was close to the beach and a short drive into Coles Bay. The beds were extra comfortable and to top it off the luxury of a bathtub. The location was extra quiet. There was nothing not to like

Sandbar Beach House was exceptional for our four night stay. Located within easy walking distance to Sandpiper Beach, a lovely walking beach. The house worked well for us - two couples. We enjoyed the inside- outside feel. When inside there are plenty of windows to enjoy the views. But it is also easy to sit on the outside balcony with a glass of wine and enjoy the sunset. Bedrooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are very workable. Some nice landscaping plants around the house. The Beach House is at Swanwick, about 5 minutes drive from the shops that can be found in Iluka / Coles Bay. We can recommend Granite at Iluka for a nice morning coffee or a very edible evening pizza. Our hosts were very responsive to any questions we had. Nothing. Sandbar Beach House is just wonderful holiday accommodation.

Beautiful location and house set up. Very clean and comfortable for a family of 4 or more. Deck was beautiful to sit out on for sunset, lots of blankets to relax with on the couches. Short drive to National Park and Coles Bay restaurants/coffee shops. Lovely part of Tasmania to explore for 4 days or so.

A superb location overlooking the beach and bay beyond, with lovely sunsets. Spacious living areas with dining and comfy sofas. Well equipped kitchen and also BBQ with some pantry staples provided. Great beds and lots of wardrobe space in each bedroom. Quite and secluded location, makes for a good nights sleep.

They were able to accomodate an earlier checkin and the key safe was easy. The home was cosy and comfortable, wish we could stay forever. To be able to stay there forever!! It was very hard to leave a beautiful home and view.

The beach house was exquisite! The view of the coastline was just stunning! The house is beautifully decorated, and comfortable and the kitchen is fully stocked! The beach is a short walk down a pathway from the house! We couldn’t have enjoyed that easy peaceful feeling more!! Nothing! Loved it all!!
